Ing. František Chaloupecký

Chairman

Ing. František Chaloupecký is an economist specialising in industrial management with over 35 years of experience. He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, the largest non-political body comprising 1,600 members.

He is the owner of Dostav Praha, an energy and infrastructure development company. Ing. Chaloupecký is also a co-owner and executive board member of Intelligent Markets, an innovator, developer, and operator of technically advanced service solutions for customers that actively collaborates with IBM.

Previously, he worked for the Ministry of Foreign Trade, PZO Pragoinvest, an international trade company, as well as Sigma Concern, a Czech industrial equipment manufacturer for the energy, petrochemical, and water management industries.

DR. MIHAILS KUZNECOVS

Vice-Chairman

Dr. Mihails Kuznecovs is a board-level executive strategist and economist with strong experience in identifying, leading, and executing quality investment initiatives, especially in the energy, renewables, healthcare, and FMCG sectors.

He is the owner of Ersteberg Ltd., a business and capital investment advisory, and previosly served as acting CEO & CFO for one of the largest healthy drinks producers in the Czech Republic. Prior to that, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for the 14th century old brewery, and as Vice-Chairman for Synecta a.s., an international energy developer and construction company based in the Czech Republic. He was a global business development manager for Dufry AG, an international travel retailer based in Switzerland. Previously, he was responsible for strategy and business analysis with RES Ltd., an international renewable energy developer located in the UK.

He holds a PhD in Economics from Brunel University in the UK.

JUDr. Jiří Voršilka

Vice-Chairman

JUDr. Jiří Voršilka is a highly respected attorney who works with both Czech companies and international businesses.

He is a co-founder of Voršilka-Stránská-Pazdera attorney-at-law office, which later transformed into Voršilka Prokůpek attorney-at-law office. His professional career dates back to 1982 when he served at the District Court and later as a judge for the City Court of Prague.

JUDr. Voršilka specializes in various areas of law, including competition law, civil and commercial law, insolvency law, real estate and construction law, banking and finance, capital markets and securities, foreign exchange law, leasing, criminal law and criminal procedure, administrative and litigation, as well as arbitration proceedings.

Ing. Lubor Novák

Lubor Novák has a diverse background, having served as both an elite military and police officer.

Currently, Mr Novak holds the position of CEO at Extreme Gun Group Ltd., where he oversees the company's operations and strategic direction. Additionally, he serves as the President of the World Extreme Cup, a prestigious event that hosts up to five competitions annually, attracting over 800 participants from more than 60 different countries.

He is an active member of the Czech Qatar Chamber of Commerce, contributing to the promotion of trade and collaboration between the two nations. Through his various roles and accomplishments, Mr Novak continues to make significant contributions to both the tactical training and business communities on a global scale.

Mr Greg Loayon

Mr Greg Loayon is a multifaceted professional with diverse expertise and contributions across various sectors.

As the founder of Loayon Consultancy, headquartered in Qatar, he brings strategic insights and advisory services to clients seeking business development and growth opportunities in the region. Additionally, Loayon is a co-owner of a Martial Arts Academy, further demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to fostering physical fitness and well-being within the community.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr Loayon served as the CEO of Zurich Insurance Qatar, where he played a pivotal role in steering the company's operations and enhancing its market presence in Qatar. His extensive experience in the insurance industry has earned him recognition for his leadership and strategic acumen.

Outside of his professional pursuits, he is a valued member of the Czech Qatar Chamber of Commerce, contributing to the promotion of bilateral trade and collaboration between the two nations.
